Alan Horwitz

Alan Horwitz graduated with a degree in business entrepreneurship from Indiana University. During a long and distinguished business career as a business sales consultant, he owned and operated various successful businesses including an advertising company, an internet distributor, a retail software store, and various national franchise restaurants including McDonald’s, Tropical Smoothie Cafes, and CiCis Pizza.

In addition, Alan has acted as an outside consultant for the Small Business Administration and has been involved in business sales and mergers and acquisitions across almost every industry. Alan is extremely experienced and qualified with regard to both financing and creative deal structuring. Over the last 30 years, he has been an outside consultant in the area of business valuations and in preparing businesses for a future sale. He has sold an extremely high percentage of his listings. Over the last 10 years, Alan has consistently been one of the top 10 producing brokers in the Sunbelt Network system. Recent business sales include a Las Vegas casino, an entire National Franchise System, a specialty pharmacy, a large executive suites company, and various other retail businesses, service businesses, manufacturers, and distributors.

Alan is familiar with valuing, marketing, and selling businesses that range in value from $100,000 to $50 million. In the last two years, he has developed a close and ongoing relationship with MainStreetChamber of Commerce and is now the exclusive broker for their members nationwide. With over 30 years of owning and selling business, Alan brings experience and integrity to business brokerage.
